                                         Reflection 

During this semester I have picked up some learning habits that made me a better writer. The three important assignments that I have done are the Exploratory essay, Research Critical Analysis, and the Rhetorical Exam. In our exploratory essay, I learned to develop strategies for reading, drafting, revising, and editing by the processes I took to get the essay done. We had a library lesson that showed us how to use the databases to me to find the evidence I needed for the essay. I learned that when researching and choosing evidence that not every part of the source must support my point of view. You can find evidence of this in the exploratory essay page. This made reading less time-consuming. In the RCA the second is composing texts that integrate the student’s stance and language with appropriate sources, using strategies such as summary, critical analysis, interpretation, synthesis and argumentation. This skill mostly means argumentation because this was an argumentation essay. You can see this on the RCA page. In the Rhetorical exam the I learned how to recognize and practice key rhetorical terms and strategies when engaged in writing situations. In the rhetorical exam, I used these key terms to help understand article so that I can read it better. You can see this on the rhetorical exam page.
